My love for the camera goes back to my university days where it paid for my tuition fees and provided beer money.

Following retirement from the corporate world, I now have the time to pursue my passion for the art-nude genre of photography with its subtle interplay of light and shadow on that ultimate of all canvases - the female body. While classical nude studies will remain timelessly beautiful, I love to experiment, encouraging the models I work with to help me find ways to add intrigue and "an edge" to our work.

For example, we often juxtapose cold steel and warm flesh, bind rough hessian rope on delicate feminine skin, or play erotically charged, tongue-in-cheek mind games with the observer. From time to time we introduce male or female counterparts, scraps of fabric, decorative ropework, or the Japanese Shibari art form to assist in further building that intrigue.

We invite the viewer to enter into this intrigue and to have fun exploring, exposing, and celebrating the wiles, sensuality, and ravishing appeal of the pinnacle of creation.

I have been awarded a "Fellowship in Photography"  by the SWPP and am currently fine-tuning a Fellowship panel for the Royal Photographic Society.
